Yeah! A new year awaits! I get excited for the new year, I don't know why. It' s exciting thinking about the future I guess. 2010 was a great year, just like I though it would be. I just went back and re-read my new years post from last year. I was excited to have a new baby and stay at home with my kids, and, it was awesome. 2010 was a really good year.
I stopped working in Jan, for good, wow, I can't believe I have been home for a year already. Once you have kids time flies sooooo fast! I crashed my suv in a snow storm last winter with Sadie in the car and Bryer in my belly. I remember being terrified I did something to Bryer, but he was just fine in there.
Both of my grandfathers passed away within a few months of each other. So there was a few sad moments this year, expected I guess. One passed while I was pregnant, the other when I had a newborn. I remember I started cramping at my one grandfather's funeral. That was the beginning of the start of Bryer's coming I guess. I didn't stop cramping till I had him a week or so later. But I had the easiest labor and delivery in history, well, in my history anyway.
It's funny, my two grandfathers passed away within two months of each other, and two baby boys were born within two months of each other. My sister and I had both had a boy in between the funerals.
You would think my sister and I would name our boys after our grandfathers....Harold Frederick, Kenneth Eugene. Sorry, couldn't do it. Needed something a little more hip :) Oh well. Anyway, summer brought an awesome, awesome time for us Fisher's! We enjoyed going to Blue Marsh Lake by our house with both our kids. Sadie turned three and had her party there. And yes, I can't believe how big she has gotten since last year....and yes, I said the same thing last year. When do they stop growing so fast?? Not that I am complaining about Bryer, he is almost one and I am ecstatic!
Here is Sadie when she turned two....

And now when she turned three this past year! Good-bye my little toddler girl...she is really turning into a pre-schooler now.
I am sad thinking about her turning four. It means pre-school is coming, schedules to set, learning to do, growing up.... :( I could keep her home, but I feel she needs the interaction and needs to start learning to sit still and pay attention. I don't need her repeating Kindergarten like me cuz I couldn't sit still and distracted other kids.
We also bought a boat this summer and absolutely fell in love with it. We took it out every chance we had, for about a month before Fall hit. We can't wait to use it all summer this year!! Can't wait to teach Sadie to swim, keep Bryer from falling off the boat, get sunburned (repeatedly), and make tons and tons of family memories.
Oh, and Brett left his 20's this year. He is an old man now. With me following soon this year! No worries though, me and the girls are all going away to celebrate the big turn over, as we all are turning 30! It feels sooooo weird saying 30. How did this happen?? I know our weekend get away is going to be tons of fun with awesome memories!! We just have to plan it.
2011 promises to hold lots of good times! Good bye 2010, you were good to us...

I'm glad we're all taking "the big turn over" together! I can't wait for our weekend away, especially now that I know where we're going and roughly when :) Much to come before then though and I'm just still praying our baby girl can be born without reflux issues!!
