A little mommy gift for my babies. I love it, if I do say so myself. It's so fun learning to knit something new...or something besides a hat, lol. I decided to make monkeys for my kids that they can hopefully keep forever. We will see how well I actually knit them and how much abuse they get. Obviously Sadie has the girl monkey. She picked out the pink shirt, surprise, surprise. I don't know where this girl gets her love for pink. I put the squiggly S on it for Sadie. She loves her monkey. I should say loved, once I got Bryer's done she now wants his. Typical girl changing her mind and of course being jealous.

Bryer's monkey has a heart. Why you say? Well, he is my sweat heart...cheesy. It kind of represents the heart birthmark on his nose I guess. Look, they are holding hands in this pic. They are so easy to pose and snap away, not like two little children. See, no kids in these pics?

Sadie's monkey hammed it up a little. She has no name, well, her name is Monkey. That is what Sadie picked for her. Clearly her creative genes haven't emerged yet. Although I am shocked she didn't name her Curly. That is what she seams to be naming all the toys in her room. I think we have 10 different Curlys.

Such a classic picture. A little monkey love. Inside each monkey I put a little love note to each of my kids. In case they are ever ripped open for some reason, hopefully not, they will get to read a note their mom wrote from years ago. Wishful thinking here...that it will take years for these monkeys to get ripped open. I'm sure they will be reading these notes in a few months time, lol.

Anyway, can't wait to find another cool project to start. My kids are going to have an entire knit bedroom by time I am done.
