Easter

We have this tradition. I know it might sound weird to you. It's called an Easter egg hunt. We hide the eggs. The kids find them. Filled with candy and toys. Weird, I know, right?
Look closely. You'll find our pet dinosaur. Four feet of glorious air filled fun.

Our dino may attack at any given moment. Putting fear into children and causing ear piercing screams.

Oh what I wouldn't have given to get my children next to each other in a picture, and smiling, or at least presentable.

Mommy had it. Lost it pretty much. Just ask the sibs. There may or may not be an unflattering photo floating around out there. A photo that may or may not have yours truly as the focus with a crude gesture, sigh. It is what it is. And if anyone chooses to publish said picture, they are fully aware of any repercussions that may ensue.

It all stems from photos. Stinkin photos, and the pressure of a mother in law requesting a good picture of both of my children...together...at the same time.

I tried during the week to get pictures.
Nope.

>Nope.

Nope.

I tried before Easter to get pictures. You know, while they were freshly dressed, no food stains, no grass stains.
Nope.

I tried during Easter.
Nope.
Don't even have any to show.

Sorry dear mother in law. It's not in the cards at this moment.
I blame it on Bryer. It's entirely his fault. He normally is fine for pictures. Not this week. Not the week it's time for Easter pictures. Time for his birthday pictures. Something is up with him. Maybe next week Bryer will be back and I can try try again.

To end on a good note. At least we got a family picture :)
Not looking at the camera. Not even posing for it. But we're living. And this is how we live.

Here's what happens when we "try" to pose...ahh

Happy Easter from the Fisher Family.

I like the last picture of the family. Everyone looks happy and like they're having fun! I'm not counting on good sibling pictures for a while either, lol. If it's not one of them it's the other! Hope you all are doing well and enjoying Spring.
