What's been going on....

Brett and I planted our very first vegetable garden. It's alive and kicking so I guess we have a little bit of a green thumb, well, at least it's not brown. We already have harvested tons of lettuce...unfortunately I dont' really like salad and Brett is staying away from fresh vegs and fruits in case he has IBS...so anyone???






I also went away on my girls weekend;this year to the Poconos with Lara and Nancy. Great great times! I was so paranoid we were gonna be stalked and killed up there....soon after we arrived the water stopped working, completely. Of course that sent us women into a tizzy. Nancy and I too afraid to call our husbands who would probably freak out as well so Lara had to call Jeremy. We just forgot to turn on the water circuits. And we were drinking the old water that was sitting in the pipes! I thought it tasted like metal...
Note to self: never rent the cheapest place you can find. You might end up with dried throw up on the side of the toilet, a leaking light, dirty un-vacuumed carpets, and dust three inches thick everywhere...although
you may get a really nice hot tub with the deal, so I guess it was worth it!





















We did get to go hiking ( inbetween the constant rain all weekend), me with my bad knees; Lara with her bad hips; and Nancy with her bad bladder. But we made it back in one piece, due to some awesome pre-stretching exercises. Lara thought she was funny taking this pic of me.......













I thought I was more funny taking this pic of her! Nice Lara, very nice! More than a handful I'd say.










Every year we think we will be up late drinking and carrying on, but Brett calls us out on it....we are in bed quite early and I think we all had only a few sips of anything alcoholic. Yuck.....I really can't get into that stuff...what is my problem????
