When the Boys are Away....

...the girls will play!
We hung out all weekend and had a great time at Becca's place (even when you were working and we got your house all to ourselves Bec!). We started it on great note getting lost on the way to Becca's, and then getting lost again, and then one more time for good luck until we finally made it there...an hour late. It's funny how 26 year old women turn right back into 16 year old girls when they get together!
Six Flags rocked! We went on all the roller coasters we could handle, till our legs got too tired from standing in line and we we just wanted to go home and rest. Man, these 26 year old legs arent' like they used to be...We also gambled with our lives and rode the Kingda Ka (it stopped working three times that day, the things I do from peer pressure). Great memories!

When I got home on Mother's Day, Brett and Sadie were all ready and waiting for me with my Mother's Day gifts! It was so cute. Brett really surprised me with some awesome gifts, and even Sadie got me stuff :) What a great family I have! What a great Dad to watch Sadie all weekend on his own, and survive.
PS...
I survived too. It was my first time being away from Sadie for an entire day. I have seen her everyday of her life since she was born. I thought I was going to cry and come running home by Sat night, but I made it through and felt very relaxed not having Mom duty for the weekend (even if I still thought like a Mom and worried about her...).
