Thanks for interupting

Thanksgiving was a blast at my mom's house this year. We always play family games and this time was no different. Brett bought a new game, The Resistance, and no one was excited about it. Kind of rolled our eyes, smiled, and said nice things to make Brett feel okay about his game choice. By the end of the game, we had all lost our voices (and by all, I mean me). The phrase "excuse me" doesn't exist at family functions. Whoever talks the loudest gets heard. End of story. My vocal chords are in pain. They hate me for my persistence in trying to be heard over 8 other people. I literally yelled as loud as I could at times to be heard. The Resistance won. We liked the game...as proof of our weak voices. Nice Brett, nice.

What I am most thankful for is my kids playing without me for most of the day! Say what?! Ya baby. Sadie always runs off playing with her cuz Isabelle. I never have to worry about her. Bryer usually is attached to my leg or whining or needs something. Not this Thanksgiving. He actually played with his cousins, didn't cry when he saw my mom, and entertained himself. This is all I could ask for!

And now some pictures to remember.
Chilling outside. Waiting to get some family pics. Hopefully got some for our Christmas card.
Taking charge.
Uncle Jer.
Aunt Jacqui and her newest, Abigail.
Momma and Sadie-bean. Don't' know why this girl is so camera shy. She hates having her pic taken. No bribery will work.
Unless she doesn't know her pic is being taken. Ha Ha Ha (loud booming voice).
Bryer buddy.
A great picture of all five grand kids. You can't even see Jacqui in the back holding Abigail up. And two kids are smiling! That is a victory.
This is Sadie's signature hat. Which I love. Why you ask? Because I made this for her last year and she never takes it off. She wears it with every outfit. She wore it in 85 degree heat. She wore it in her preschool picture. She wore it till it unraveled and I had to fix it.
Uncle Jon Jon.
Who babysat my two kiddos last week and did a great job! He may or may not have put Bryer's diaper on backwards, but they were both happy, fed, and healthy when I got home. So that's another win. Thanks Uncle Jon Jon.
