Longwood virgins no more...

That's right. We finally took our very FIRST visit to Longwood Gardens. Awesome-ness I tell ya. Don't' know why we haven't gone before (maybe the hour drive is the deterrent).

Anyway, we weren't completely prepared. I brought my camera along with my huge purse...which I had to carry with me while trying to takes pics of running kids, my running kids, amongst the million other running kids. Next time, no purse. And a picnic lunch. Save my huge purse from paying a huge fortune for a not so appetizing ritzy lunch. Yuck. Pb$J would've been just perfect for us.

But we had a great time regardless. Bryer and Sadie loved the kids water area. Who doesn't'?

Bryer would've been fine staying there the entire time.


There second fav place? The topiary garden. I felt like my kids were in the Secret Garden.

Found a way...I wondered as I stared and took pictures of them if it was against the rules? I laughed and took more pics anyway. No one said anything, so we were good right?



They ran and ran and played chase and laughed and bothered other kids. It was great. I love when they get to stretch their legs. I chased a little bit too, but my huge purse sitting in the stroller kept me from chasing too far as I always had one eye glued to it. Again, no purse next time.
