So to try and follow suit....I want to make a top ten list of what I will remember this first year of Bryer's life. Here was Sadie's list from a long ago post...
Sadie, what I'll always remember from this past year:
1.how hard you were to push out!
2.how daddy and I cried and were so ecstatic when you were born
3.acid reflux is no joke and Prevacid is a wonder drug
4.how beautiful I thought you were everyday of your life
5.how much better my life is because of you
6.you take a lot of my energy and time (and I mean a LOT)... I couldn't imagine giving it to anything more important
7.you fulfilled my dream of being a mother
8.it does get easier
9.every time I blink you change
10.I love you
BRYER, what I will always remember from your first twelve months:
1. How easy it was to push you out. I cheated. I felt nothing and it was great!
2. How Daddy and I didn't' cry when you were born. I almost, almost had a tear, but it never came.
3. I knew you were gonna have acid reflux. You did. I figured it out much quicker then I did with your sister and we beat it together.
4. How I thought you were bald and fat at first...but came to find out how handsome you were...are. You are so handsome I can't stand it anymore!
5. How much better my life is with you and how you complete our family. You make me stop and play everyday, stop from getting too wrapped up in the un-important things (like cleaning).
6. You take a lot more of my precious energy. But again, is there anything more important?
7. You fulfilled my dream of being a mother. I may have wanted another girl, but God knew I NEEDED you! I can't imagine not having my precious little guy!
8. It does get easier....each month that passes is an award winning achievement in my book.
9.You change so fast. I can't keep up. I love it though!
10. I love you!
....some extras...
you love to hug
you love love love your daddy you are a man baby.
you much prefer any man to hold you over a woman (daddy says it's cuz your around two crazy women all day)
you are a better, much better eater than Sadie
