The Big and Little of it.

My, my, my...It really is funny how different your own two kids can be. I mean, they both came from the same genes, the same mother, the same father ( I think ;) but Sadie is so incredibly smaller than Bryer! Here's what I mean;

I took Bryer to his 9 month appt today, granted he is almost ten months but whatever. He weighs 20 lbs 15 oz. He feels heavy to me, but he is only 50% for weight. Now Sadie, Sadie didn't reach 20 lbs until she was a year and a half old!! Twice Bryer's age.


They were both in the 90% for height though.

I decided to do some measurements of my own, for fun you know? I was thinking I could just barley wrap my fingers around Bryer's thigh, and I could just barely wrap my fingers around Sadie's thigh. I thought, no way. It can't be.

Well, it can be.

I measured.

The proof:

Bryer's 9 month old thigh is 10 1/4 inches.
Sadie's 3 1/2 year old thigh is.....wait for it....10 1/4 inches!!!!

Seriously?

Bryer's 9 month old arm is 6 1/2 inches.
Sadie's 3 1/2 year old arm is 5 1/4 inches!!!

The girl is seriously watching her figure!

Look closely, you can see her ribs. You would think we starve this child. And yes, you can hardly see her little hiney, because she has no hiney. What can I say? She is her mother's daughter. Bryer? Not a chance that you would see his ribs with how much this kid eats! He eats the same amount as Sadie, and then finishes her food! I have to say, I do cut him off...sometimes. I think he might never stop. I don't know what he is trying to prove.
And his little thighs!! They are so thick and muscular! Where does a 9 month old get muscles from?
It was hard getting this pic...two kids are impossible to get any picture with! Bryer kept squeezing his tush! I have no idea why. It's half way squeezed here, but good enough.

And as far as Sadie's weight goes...she is currently 30 1/2 lbs. Which makes her exactly ten pounds heavier then her baby brother. I predict very, very, very ,very soon he will over take her.

Other interesting facts...Bryer's new favorite spot.
He loves going under the kitchen table. He has learned to watch his head and maneuver around. I don't get the excitement of it.
I tell everyone we don't need a dog. We already have one. Bryer comes when I call him, eats all the crumbs (and other objects, such as lint and hairballs) off the floor, and now hangs out under the table. Oh, and when he crawls people say he looks like a bulldog. He puts his head down, so he is looking at the ground, his arms and shoulders are out to the side, like a bulldog's, and he speed crawls along. What is in his DNA?

Now if I can just get him to bark...
