Tiiiiiiiiiiimber!

I LOVE getting the Christmas tree every year! I love being in the cold outside, hearing the Christmas music, drinking hot chocolate (although I haven't done this in years...I guess I like watching other people drink hot chocolate...it's always so freaking HOT), riding in the horse drawn wagon, watching Brett cut the tree, and just feeling in the holiday spirit.
This year was perfect. It was even flurrying, just barely, as we picked out our tree. Nice. It wasn't too cold. Brett was in a great mood ;) Sadie was so excited and Bryer was quiet the whole time..perfect.

Wagon ride to the trees....

Sadie and Daddy picking out the perfect tree for us...

Here is where I think "it" happened.

Sadie "I have to pee Mommy"

Me "Can you hold it. We're almost done."

Sadie "Yes"

We continue to cut down the tree and frolic around. Three minutes later...

Sadie "Mommy"

Me "Yes Sadie"

Sadie "I peed my pants"

Mind you, she went before we left the house and had nothing to drink since. She hasn't peed her pants in months and months...Why now?

Of course she didn't have pee JUST on her pants. I tried to dress her warm in layers...not good with pee.

A layer of thick warm tights under her pants and knee high socks on top. She managed to soak her underwear and the entire back side of her tights and jeans. At first I couldn't even see the pee on her pants...her wet jeans looked like the style with a darker color fading into a lighter color, lol. So at least no one else knew she had wet pants...out in the cold...and did I say very windy day? Poor girl.

She didn't complain though. And being the good mom, I am I took her in between of bunch of prime cutting trees to finish peeing, if she had any left. And she did.....she squatted...she peed even more...and even more on her pants....ahhh, can't win. Why can't three year olds aim?

Needless to say we rushed out of there...but first we shot a few more pics, lol.

"MERRY Christmas!"

On our wagon ride back to the car....
Sadie " Can I sit on Santa's lap and tell him what I want for Christmas?"
Me "I don't' think Santa would like that Sadie...."
Sadie "Okay. Maybe next time when I have new pants and they aren't all wet"
I hope the people next to us on the wagon weren't listening :)
Love family outings!

Sounds like a great Christmas outing! Did Brett pick out a huge tree? Too funny about Sadie but at least she didn't mind. And she can always see Santa at the mall :)
