Thar' She Blows!

Say hello to "the stink ray"...or until I can come up with a cooler name. Yes, we did it. We were crazy. Some might say delusional. In one weeks time we decided to buy a boat and bought one. Seven days to find and purchase a boat before the weekend. All good ol' Brett's idea if I do say so. Me? I was nervous making such a huge purchase so quickly....our neighbors looked for a year and a half! Not us...nope. We are too impatient I guess.
That being said.....I am so happy we made this purchase. It is such an awesome, awesome...wait did I say awesome? family activity. We have gone out every weekend we have had it...about three weeks now, and have had a great time every time.
It's an open bow and fits about 7 people....or 950lbs to be exact. It's the largest boat my little Murano can haul...and yes..in the same week we bought the boat I had to go out and get a hitch put on my car....Brett had to learn everything about boating...learn how to tow the boat..reverse with the boat (still learning that one).... we were stressed to no end. It took three hours to put the hitch on....they told me an hour...as I waited in the NON air conditioned Uhaul store with Bryer...it was a great time.

What's a few more tubing pics! These ones are all from our boat this time! The boys definitely are more adventurous on the tube then me....of course they all fell off this time while trying new tricks...me? Nope, I laid low on the tube and played it safe. Baby?..yes, yes I was :)

Poor Jul cracked her already messed up TMJ jaw on her ride. Of course me and Jul make Brett go about 10 miles an hour slower then the boys go on the tube, and we still scream like babies....but like I said, we're girls. She still had fun though...I think.
Brett is beginning to become quite the show off on the tube....always using one or no hands and new positions....I'm talking about boating here people...lol. I've never seen him smile so big...or have so much fun...again..talking about boating.

By the end of the day we all looked like this pretty much. It's hard work...this tubing thing. Sadie was pulling daddy in to the boat since he was clearly done.
Can't wait till next summer!
