2009...going, going....gone!

It's hard trying to remember what happens in an entire year....at least things worthy of writing about.

Let's see....well Sadie turned two this summer. She has learned to talk non-stop, non-stop, non-stop...did I mention non-stop? Brett calls it 24-7 commentary by Sadie. Thank goodness for TV. As soon as I put on a show for her the house becomes blissfully quiet and I can get some things done in peace. She has perfected some of her words. No longer "strawbabies" she now says "strawberries," but she has also already grown past the mommy stage and now calls me mom, which just seems a little early to me. Sadie also recently became potty trained and has learned to somewhat clean up her toys. Here is Sadie last winter and then this winter....I thought she looked so big last winter and now I can see how she still had her chubby little kid face. Wonder how much older she will look to me next year.

This winter

I had stopped working this past year and then re-started working in spring for the same family I have been sitting for for four years. Of course I will be stopping again very shortly as I am pregnant again! Due this April with a little brother for Sadie. Lots of imaging what he will be like.

This pregnancy is exactly like the one I experienced with Sadie. Smooth sailing and very easy. No problems so far. I just pray the delivery is a little easier on me :)

Brett had a rough year with his health. I can't even think about how much money we spent in doctor's bills, medicine, ER visits....and so on and so on and so on. It was hard on the whole family but praise the Lord that has pretty much ended and 2010 seems to be looking much better health wise. But he is still skinny and hot looking...unlike me who is looking more and more like an umpa lumpa everyday :) Can't wait to be skinny again in 2010!

This was the year of the hard recession I guess...we made it through without too much pain. Pinched some pennies here and there but none the less we made it just fine. Another praise.

We were able to go on vacation with the Pledgers to NC and had a great time....except for Brett's health ;) We also went on a last minute cruise in Oct which was a huge mistake!! As you can read in my previous blogs from Oct.

I am just very excited for 2010!! Good health, a new baby, staying at home, and hopefully staying financially stable. It's all looking up and up for now...oh ya, and B-rett turns the big 3-0 this year!!

Happy New Year! Looking forward to hearing Sadie's commentary when we come in early March : )
