Cali take 2

Our second trip to CA has come to an end. We made the day- long flying, driving, waiting, and eating on the run trip once again to visit Bradd's family and their new home. Gorgeous home by the way....

We made ourselves useful by testing out their pool and hot tub. The weather wasn't too hot the week we were there so we got to enjoy a heated pool. (As Brett's Dad stood by and watched the water meter spin round and round like crazy trying to heat it). To be fair we did help out around the house with the new move. Well, Brett and his parents did. I kept a watchful eye on Sadie, Kaelan, and sometimes the dog as we played in the backyard. Hard life...
Sadie got to spend tons of time with her awesome cousins who love her so much! Now that we are home she keeps asking about Tate and Kaelan...she misses them already!

We went to Universal Studios where the kids had a great time playing around and the grown ups did too. We drove by the Desperate Housewives set only to be disappointed in how little it was and no stars to be seen. But I can say I have been on Wisteria Lane! This was the highlight of the trip for Brett. He is devastated if he misses one episode of Desperate Housewives.
Sadie met Curious George, although she was scared and almost cried she still said Hi to him as she clung to Brett.

It's great getting together with Brett's family and spending quality time together. Maybe one day we will be forced to live in CA....or better yet, Bradd's family will move back to good ol' safe, friendly, comfortable, reliable, back roads, farm land, green and beautiful PA!!
