Well it came and went already...our first family vacation. Of course we went on a mild, relaxing vacation where we could sit back and enjoy being a family... ;)
We decided to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge resort in Disney which was awesome! Beautiful lodge with the smell of campfire and close up views of zebras, giraffes, and other Savannah animals. We went to a different theme park everyday... where we walked more in one day then Brett and I normally do in one year, where we glistened with sweat while we raced from ride to ride, and where we made all our family vacation memories.
I can't say enough what a wonderful daughter we have! She was perfect on both plane rides and throughout the whole week. She skipped naps, went to bed late, and was hot most of the days..but did she complain? Nope. She was a trooper. (Must take after Mom) She woke up at 6am most mornings even though she was lacking on sleep, guess she was excited to start her new day at Disney. Brett and I.....not so excited at 6am.
One of our favorite memories was taking Sadie to Playhouse Disney where she danced and talked to all the other kids there. She absolutely loved it! (she is all the way to the right in the pic with Brett holding her up) Brett and I also got to enjoy some rides while taking turns holding Sadie in line. It was a great vacation, but we are all glad to be home.

We know Brett is a handy man but we didn't know Disney World had a suite that looks just like him! We're glad you had such a great time and that Sadie lived up the Playhouse : ) Can't wait to see you three next weekend! Nancy and Jon
yay for disney world! my family went into 2006 and we stayed at the animal kingdom lodge, too. isn't it awesome? i can't wait to go back!
