Holy Cow, I'm One!

Our baby girl, born one year ago on Aug 10, 2007 8:06pm at 9 lbs 2 oz is no longer our little baby...she's our little girl :) It seems if I just turn around I will see my baby all swaddled up in her little pink blanket, instead what I see is a laughing little girl crawling over to me and speaking Chinese. What a difference a year makes!

We had a cow themed first birthday party for Sadie with friends and family. It was a great time with awesome weather! I couldn't have asked for a better day to celebrate Sadie's birthday! We had baby pools to play in, water balloons, a pull string pinata, sling shot cows.....

Sadie was in a great mood all day, thank you God for that answered prayer! Although she did bang her forehead on a dining room chair before the party just so she would have a beautiful red bump on her head! Thank goodness her hair is long enough to cover the damage :)

Sadie, what I'll always remember from this past year:

1.how hard you were to push out!
2.how daddy and I cried and were so ecstatic when you were born
3.acid reflux is no joke and Prevacid is a wonder drug
4.how beautiful I thought you were everyday of your life
5.how much better my life is because of you
6.you take a lot of my energy and time (and I mean a LOT)... I couldn't imagine giving it to anything more important
7.you fulfilled my dream of being a mother
8.it does get easier
9.every time I blink you change
10.I love you
